I love October for many reasons:
1. It is my birthday month.
2. It starts cooling down in mid October and we get to shed the summer humidity and temps of high 90s where we enjoy 75-80 degrees. Doesn't get any better than that, folks!
3. Last but not least, the Catholic Church's liturgical calendar is FILLED with beautiful feast days like St. Thèrése of Lisieux (my patron saint), the Guardian Angels, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Faustina, Our Lady of the Rosary, the Maternity of Mary (on the 11th according the old Church calendar), St. Teresa of Avila and St. Margaret Mary Alacoque.
